From: Wanjiku Muthoni wanjiku@muthonivet.co.ke Subject: Re: Follow-up -- can we predict who won't show up?

Hi again,

The analysis you did was really helpful -- my team finally understands the scale of the problem. Grace has printed the chart showing no-show rates by visit type and pinned it to the wall behind reception. Everyone can see it now.

But here's the thing: knowing that vaccination follow-ups have the worst no-show rate doesn't help me with tomorrow's schedule. I'm looking at 30 appointments and I want to know which ones are likely to be empty. If I knew that, Grace could send an extra reminder to those clients, or I could double-book the risky slots.

The data is the same -- I've added three more months since we last worked together. Same columns, same format. About 9,500 rows now.

What I want: a model that can look at an upcoming appointment -- the day, the time, the visit type, whether the client is new, the pet species -- and tell me how likely it is to be a no-show. Ranked, so Grace can focus her reminder calls on the riskiest ones.

I also want to do this properly. Last time we just went straight to the analysis. This time I want a clear plan -- what we're building, how we'll know it works, all of that. If my associate vet asks "how accurate is this?" I need a real answer.
